PUBLIC NOTICE

MONTGOMERY COUNTY SHERIFF'S OFFICE      
December 12, 2011

The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is scheduled for an on-site assessment as part of a program to gain re-accreditation status by verifying it meets professional standards identified by the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies, Inc. (CALEA).  Members of the assessment team will be accepting comments by calling (937) 225-5873 on December 12, 2011 between the hours of 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. 

Telephone comments at the information session are generally limited to ten (10) minutes and must address the agency’s ability to comply with CALEA standards.  A copy of the standards are available at the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office,  345 West Second Street, Dayton, Ohio.  The agency contact is Brenda Gisewite, Accreditation Manager and may be reached at (937) 224-3619.
